译者的话：

这首歌的歌词其实就是爆爆（Powder）转变为金克斯（Jinx）的心路历程。自小目睹双亲被杀，心里留下巨大的阴影，这致使孩童年代的爆爆胆小又狂躁。但是因为身边有蔚（Vi, Violet）的安慰和支持，她还是控制住了情绪。在懂事以后，爆爆总想证明给蔚看自己的能力，但又因为年龄小身体没长成，总是被其他小伙伴（主要是麦罗Milo）嘲笑嫌弃。直到营救范德尔（Vander）事件，爆爆因为被蔚以危险为理由抛下而狂躁不安，而后使用晶石爆炸猴误杀了小伙伴和范德尔，致使蔚一句冲动之言“你就是祸害（You are a Jinx.）”和抛下她的举动（转角就被执法官抓了，没法回到爆爆身边），释放心魔，同时又正好被希尔科（Silco）利用，成为了破坏分子金克斯。在接下来的几年中失去了蔚的金克斯放任自己的破坏欲，直到再次遇到蔚，又开始了在“爆爆”和“金克斯”之间摇摆。最后在看到了蔚和凯特琳（Caitlin）的“亲密举动”后先入为主地误认为自己在姐姐心中已没有地位后，彻底暴走。
