【第一部科幻片】【乔治 · 梅里爱】月球旅行记 A Trip to the Moon (1902)
梅里爱执导的黑白无声科幻电影，全长约14分钟，于1902年9月1日在法国上映，后来曾一度失传。1993年，受损严重的彩版拷贝被发现，2011年，影片的完整彩色修复版在戛纳电影节首映。
影片讲述六名天文学家在月球惊心动魄的冒险故事，被认为是科幻电影的开山之作。灵感来源于儒勒
· 凡尔纳的小说《从地球到月球》和H · G · 威尔斯的小说《最早登上月球的人》。影片直接在每个胶片拷贝上手工上色，是第一部彩色长篇故事片。其中太空舱击中月球上的脸的镜头是已知最早的定格动画。
